Description: This exceptionally lanky man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His red hair is singed and shortened. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. This amber eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Ombul learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. She is portly but not overly obese. Her brown hair, when down, is lengthy. Her silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Mastema is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with white colored cloaks and clothing. Her black hair is still thick. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her white eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the east to a Dilettante, Mastema learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
