History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Melissa reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she typically wears pastel cloth garments or leather armor, and is pretty ugly. Her orange fur is thinning but still full. Her eyes are copper and beady.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. A true patriot, Shadow would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wishes to resurrect an old love

She sports red clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
