She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Melissa speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Korinn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Korinn was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has dyed his greying lavender fur a little too much giving a sharp lavender color. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This woman is well dressed, constantly wearing a red suit, blue shirt, and brown tie. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on her left hand. She has done her best to style her golden hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Verna enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Verna was born the youngest of three triplets. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Verna took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor she uses now. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
