History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Abad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
