Personality: Vondal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Vondal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his mother before him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. A true patriot, Fragrant would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A 5'8" southern man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the north to a Shipwright, Naeris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shipwright responsibilities is difficult; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Emeny was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fletcher, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
