Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Nelkin and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shoemaker. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is singed and shortened. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Tanner business.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a scimitar on her belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'7" when asserting herself. Her crest is short and red. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
