History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Veloptima alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
