History: Gorbundus was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Tod was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
