Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'11". He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a morningstar. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise blue.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ortegar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ortegar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her yellow fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her skin is flawless and her yellow eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She keeps her golden hair in a pixie cut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: Virra was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Virra was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
