She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Artin decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion; and a deep hatred of dire rats
