History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Margery was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
