Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Junk Dealer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard mother left him crippled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A true patriot, Ekk would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ekk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Thorpe hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away
