Description: This woman stands a little under 4'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. She sports a flattop hair cut. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Bendoo speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Bendoo took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a great chef.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Murgen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Ella enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Ella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Bounty Hunter, but she got bored and became a Courier. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
