Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Fletcher business.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ella alone in the world. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Raer is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second son.
