Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At some point she was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who wears professional attire, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gimurt was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gimurt grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gimurt. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Siffress will drive conversation. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
