Personality: Purah is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rathkran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is a Marshal first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Roondar hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gifted student he started as a Apothecary, but he got bored and became a Marshal. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
