History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vassago was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
