History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nyx was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
