Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She became a Crown-heir soon after.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He has gleaming, smiling silver eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and balancing his hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fragrant grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
