History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Burto was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Findex began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His tied-back hair is golden. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: An older man who wears a simple violet robe with blue stripes complete with hood, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Assassin job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and further expansion of business

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
