Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She takes great joy in being the best Barkeep in town.

History: She was born in the north. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'7". She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a red coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Ghaliver hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to reunite with his old friends
