History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

He found a children's book about a Gnome Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and wants to work out more often
