History: River was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed quarterstaff, just in case. She wears a colorful flower in her scarlet crest. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with her brother
