Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Description: She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. She carries with her a set of spears on her belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. Her red crest is heavily combed to the left. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Jheri enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). With wild auburn hair. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Jane hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Sage. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Jane was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length brass crest. Her red eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Performer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and doesn't want to be a junk dealer and was forced into it by her family

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
