Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'1" when asserting herself. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length beige fur. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lone grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lone alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Tarhun would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tarhun was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and money/treasure

Description: 6'10" and muscular, this northern man wears professional attire. His white hair is still thick. His half smiles and silver eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cressel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Cressel was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge
