Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She has blonde hair. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her broad grey hat.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gurdis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Numba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. Marbas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to reunite with his old friends
