History: Born in the north to a Herbalist, Carlin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
