History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Mumpena was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dyer. She's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy
