His mother taught him the rudiments of the Actor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alice grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'11" and wears a simple grey robe with tan stripes complete with hood. His red hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Gerald is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.
