History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Everard's homeland. Everard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Everard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. Direcris enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Born in the east to a Seamstress, Silgre learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Apothecary again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Katherine and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of orcs
