History: He was born into a rich family. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.
