History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trynnicus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: An older man who is typically in his Map Maker uniform, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Shadow was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
