Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Balam and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
