History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
