Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hatae embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born in a small forest village. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
