History: Emerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
