Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Merchant profession.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and to end his boredom

Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Emmeline hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emmeline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she would like to get married and retire
