History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Whurbin was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
