History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Smoking learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
