History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mayor profession.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Duergath abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he desires power and/or immortality
