History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. Aldous enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Grai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Motivation: She is greedy; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her chestnut hair is cut short. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahlyssa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahlyssa. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
