She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Meriele and her spouse have recently divorced.
