Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She wears her silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Ella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a Servant, his father struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
