Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He stands about 3'8" and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With wild auburn hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
