History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Windy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Andraste learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.
