His gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gunter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in the south to a Weaver, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her hair is short and blonde. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thiala embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Thiala was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants to raise her children well
