History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bathin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Being a Fortune-teller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
