History: She got into the Scribe business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anbera grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anbera. She's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Hunter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ûshgol alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Drifting hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.
