History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Volen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frug fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
