History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anakis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Kilia was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
